Theano – Damiana Agaloglou

Theano – Damiana Agaloglou was born in Athens in 1989. She studied Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) and continued with postgraduate studies in International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

She worked as an intern in the D1 Directorate for the United Nations and International Organizations and Conferences of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy. From March 2014 to October 2023, she worked at the Programs & Grants Management and Coordination Department of the Bodossaki Foundation. She specialized in programs promoting excellence and managed donations for the improvement of healthcare and the empowerment of civil society. At the same time, she was part of the team that managed European Economic Area and third party funds for projects with a significant social impact.

She has conducted research and written reports for the European Council on Foreign Relations, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Greece, European Policy Review and Vouliwatch. Her articles have been published in Kathimerini, Liberal and Politics Watch. She is treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Alumni Association of LSE.

Theano has been working at the Museum of Cycladic Art as Project Manager of the Cycladic Identity Initiative since November 2023.
