Family Educational Programs

From October to May, every weekend is an opportunity for children and parents to engage with the MCA Educational Programs. Through interactive tours and artwork making, everybody is taking part in these creative workshops.

Following the new instructions that have been announced against the coronavirus Covid-19 spread, the Museum of Cycladic Art will temporarily close to the public as of Tuesday, November 3rd until further notice.

Weekends in 2021 are now ... οnline! 

Starting this year, the Museum of Cycladic Art’s popular educational workshops, enjoyed by generations, will take place online! Online weekend workshops, which were organized during the Museum’s closure, will continue until the Museum reopens to the public. Families throughout Greece and Greek-speaking children from around the world are invited to participate! 

Each weekend until May, children and parents from around the world will discover the Museum through storytelling, interactive tours, art workshops, theatre, photography, and music!

The online weekend workshops are made possible with the support of Eurolife FFH, a strategic partner of the Museum of Cycladic Art.

ONLINE WORKSHOPS FOR ENGLISH - SPEAKING CHILDREN

School has started and, this year, the Museum of Cycladic Art continues to offer the best weekend activities for children, ages 2-12! Every weekend, from October to May, children and parents get acquainted with the exciting world of the Museum through fairy tales, interactive tours, art workshops, theater, photography and music!

SAFETY MEASURES

Safety Measures / Certification of the Museum for the procedures of disinfection and the prevention of the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus / COVID-19

The Museum observes all measures and rules that are in force for the prevention of and protection from COVID-19. Additionally, the Museum just completed an SGS certification program that certifies the effectiveness and proper implementation of all cleaning and disinfection procedures to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus / COVID-19. Following a thorough inspection, the Museum received the SGS DISINFECTION MONITORED, CLEANING CHECKED MARK for all its areas, including the spaces where its educational programs are conducted.
