HOME ACTIVITIES
7-10 YEARS
Inspiration
Using the Japanese Notan technique.
Materials
- Colored cardboard for our background 30 x 40 cm
- Black square cardboard 15 x 15 cm
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Scissors
- Glue
Proccess
- Place the black square on top of the colored cardboard
- Using a pencil, draw geometric or organic shapes, patterns, etc.
- Draw simple shapes on the edges of the cardboard so that they can be easily cut out.
- Cut exactly on the lines you drew. Attention! Our shape should not bleed out at all.
- As we remove the shapes from the black square we carefully put them aside.
- Glue the central piece of the black square in the center of the colored cardboard.
- Place the cut shapes of the square in their original position for easy placement.
- To glue the cut-out shapes, open them as you would open a book.
