The Museum of Cycladic Art is actively interested in information technology and its potential applications on cultural heritage, with the aim of disseminating knowledge to as wide an audience as possible.

By regularly participating in international research programs funded by the European Union, the museum has acquired considerable experience in the use of advanced technologies for conservation purposes, the creation and management of digital resources, the networking of museums and other cultural institutions through the web, increasing accessibility for the public, etc.
