Contemporary Art at the Museum of Cycladic Art, 2007–2021
On the 15th anniversary since the first temporary exhibition organized as part of its Contemporary Art Program in 2007, the Museum of Cycladic Art published a bilingual celebratory publication featuring all exhibitions and partnership projects that have been included in the Program up to 2021.
The publication offers a comprehensive overview of the Contemporary Art Program so far, including brief introductory texts, and mainly rich photographic material from exhibition views as well as archival material from the preparatory stages of mounting selected temporary exhibitions.
Readers may browse through exhibitions featuring works by renowned artists such as Lynda Benglis, Louise Bourgeois, George Condo, Jannis Kounellis, Cy Twombly, Pablo Picasso and Ai Weiwei, among others.
Prefaces by Kassandra Marinopoulou, MCA President and CEO, and Aphrodite Gonou, MCA Contemporary Art Program Advisor.
