The "Keros Hoard"

A scholarly examination of the “Keros Hoard”, an enigmatic assemblage of broken figurines and vessels illicitly excavated in the ‘50s at the islet of Keros, between Naxos and Amorgos.

Written by a Cycladic expert, the Museum of Cycladic Art curator Dr. P. Sotirakopoulou, the book explores the significance of this assemblage and the possible function of the site where it was found. It contains 254 entries with detailed descriptions, B/W photos of all objects, numerous drawings, timelines, charts, diagrams and exhaustive bibliography.
