Dr. Panagiotis Iossif, Scientific Director of the Museum of Cycladic Art and Curator of the exhibition together with Dr. Ioannis Fappas, talks with Dr. Evy Papadopoulou, Curator of Prehistoric Antiquities of the museum about the importance of the battle of Chaeronea in antiquity and for its long-lasting impact until today. How did the outcome of the battle affect the transition from the Classical to the Hellenistic period? What was the role of the young Alexander to the victory of the Macedonians and how do the archaeological finds help us to reconstruct the events of a day that changed the world?
