Salvador Dali

Myth and Singularity

THE EXHIBITION

The exhibition, with thirty paintings and a sculptures of the artist, presented an overview of the work of the great Spanish painter, covering all periods of his work, from the early 1920s until the 1980s.

The exhibition focused on the peculiar artistic personality of Salvador Dalí (1904-1989), which left a strong mark on the cultural history of the twentieth century and was a pioneer of art that changed the way in which we see the world now.

The title of the exhibition was based on the work Singularities, through which the artist himself comments on his eccentric personality and the legend that surrounds it - and the myths of mankind, that frequently inspired him.

Among the works of the exhibition: the bust "de Femme Retrospectif", the painting "A Propos of the 'Treatise on Cubic Form' by Juan de Herrera", the self-portrait titled "Self-portrait with Raphaelesque Neck" and the painting with a triple display his partner Gala “Three Apparitions of the Visage of Gala”.
