Wellness Workshops for People 65+
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
FOR PEOPLE OVER 60
THE PROGRAM
Through a cycle of eight sessions, participants are invited to explore themes such as personal and collective happiness, relationships with others and with the self, coping with loss, and more. Also, they will become familiar with tools for psychological resilience and will develop practices that support mental and physical wellbeing, using the Museum’s exhibits as an inspiration.
Through various artistic activities and art therapy techniques, participants will have the opportunity to express themselves freely, to reflect on issues that concern them, and to enhance their creativity, both individually and as a group. The artistic process builds a safe environment for exploring emotions, thoughts, and experiences, while fostering a sense of belonging through shared participation. The program is conducted by a psychologist and an art therapist.
The program is implemented with the support of the Young Patrons of the Museum of Cycladic Art.
