Special Education Schools and Persons with Disabilities

It includes an educational program for special education schools and institutions for persons with disabilities where visitors walk through the Museum’s permanent collections and participate in a special art workshop adapted to their needs. People with physical impairments are further invited to participate in workshops outside the Museum.

The aim of the program is the integration of persons with disabilities into the social fabric and the acquaintance with the Museum and its exhibitions. Participants are invited to gain museum experience in an experiential way, be able to express their feelings and emotions and create their own artwork.

Since 2022, the program is held with the support of the Antonios and Ioannis Angelicousis Foundation.
