Reflections of the Self

IMPACT PROGRAMS

FOR MENTAL HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS

THE PROGRAM

Within the framework of the dialogue between the Paleolithic “Venus” figurines and Jeff Koons’ sculpture Balloon Venus Lespugue (Orange), (2013 – 2019) participants will have the opportunity to explore, in a safe and supportive environment, issues of identity and personal memory, as well as their relationship with the body and their self-image.

The notion of the “reflection” of the self in the work of art will constitute a central axis of the workshops. Through the silent observation of Koons’ sculpture and visual art activities using clay and other materials, participants will have the opportunity to reconnect with themselves and express their emotions creatively.
