THE CONTEST

The Museum of Cycladic Art is transforming itself and asking kids and teens for their advice!

This year’s 13th International Kids’ Art Contest, titled “I Would Like a Museum to Be…”, invites children and teenagers aged 4–18 to imagine the museum of the future. Launching a new chapter in its history, the Museum opens a dialogue with children, giving space to imagination, creativity, and, for the first time, their voices!

Send us your drawing by May 20, either digitally or by mail!

For the first time, you can also send a short voice message answering the same question. Your voice, together with the voices of other children, will help create the largest sound library of children’s and teens’ ideas for a museum! In addition, the Youth Committee is being created—a four-member teen panel made up of previous winners, who will actively participate in the final stage of evaluating the entries.

The children’s artworks will be showcased in an interactive digital exhibition as part of the 4th Cycladic Kids Festival in September, while the themes of the award-winning works will form the basis for workshops and artistic events.
