For children 7-11 years old

Dumas belongs to a new generation of female representational painters who use portraiture to depict social, political, psychological, and personal issues.

Through her work, she explores the complex issues surrounding identity and its representation. The artist often uses photographic snapshots from films or images sourced from magazine pages, appropriating parts of these visuals to present them outside of their original context, allowing for multilayered interpretations. Each workshop will begin with a short, guided tour in this exhibition during which we will identify, through visual thinking techniques, the distinctive characteristics of the artist’s work.
