“Picasso’s Magical Animals!”

JANUARY 2025

FOR CHILDREN AGES 4-7 YEARS OLD

THE PROGRAM

Inspired by baby rattles shaped like animals, blue hippos from Egyptian art, and owl vases from Ancient Greece, participants will draw on these ancient traditions to craft their own clay creations. The session takes a modern turn as participants experiment with the techniques of Pablo Picasso, carving their favorite animals onto glass plates. This fusion of the ancient and the avant-garde allows families to explore the universality of artistic expression across cultures and time.

PS.1: Children need to wear casual and comfy clothes and be ready to get messy, as we will definitely get messy!

PS.2: The workshop is intended for unaccompanied children. Parents can only enter the workshop during the presentation at the end of the hour.
