“Surrealism – Henry Moore A… strange sculpture”
DISCOVERING GREAT CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS
FOR CHILDREN 4-7 YEARS OLD
THE PROGRAM
Have you ever thought how our body’s shape changes and how it looks from a distance, when lying down or standing? What would people look like if we observed them from a very tall tree?
Henry Moore depicted people in various positions and angles using stone and bronze. Taking inspiration from his work and using clay as our primary material, we’ll take an abstract approach to create our own anthropomorphic sculptures from different perspectives, giving us the impression that they are coming to life!
PS.1: Children need to wear casual and comfy clothes and be ready to get messy, as we will definitely get messy!
PS.2: The workshop is intended for unaccompanied children. Parents can only enter the workshop during the presentation at the end of the hour.
