“Surrealism – Alexander Calder Animated Sculptures Bring the Christmas Magic!”
DISCOVERING GREAT CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS
FOR CHILDREN 4-6 YEARS OLD
THE PROGRAM
In our Christmas workshop, we’ll explore the art of American artist Alexander Calder and his moving sculptures! Calder always enjoyed creating art using wires, balance, air, and his favorite colors – red, yellow and black!
Inspired by Calder’s work, we’ll experiment with his favorite materials to create and decorate our own animated sculptures, evoking memories of an unforgettable festive night.
And as for the parents: you are welcome to make our creations shine with your own ornaments and wishes!
PS.1: Children need to wear casual and comfy clothes and be ready to get messy, as we will definitely get messy!
PS.2: The workshop is intended for unaccompanied children. Parents can only enter the workshop during the presentation at the end of the hour.
