“Guess Who I Saw?”

OCTOBER 2024

FOR CHILDREN AGES 7-11 YEARS OLD

THE PROGRAM

Art historians conceived the title, referring to Sherman’s interest in color when portraying her characters. With tight framing, cut-out figures, and sharp light-shadow contrasts, Sherman introduces us to the personalities she embodies. Our goal is to decode and enhance these images with stories of influential women who may have inspired her.

PS1: Parental consent is required for the Museum’s educational staff to photograph the child’s portrait.

PS2: Children need to wear casual and comfy clothes and be ready to get messy, as we will definitely get messy!
