Cypriot Art

The culture of ancient Cyprus is presented through the Stories of the Museum of Cycladic Art. At the crossroads of three continents, Cyprus has always been a meeting point of cultures and ethnicities. People of different origins lived on the island, mingled, and eventually gave birth to impressive works that travelled through time. The processing of copper and its importance for Cyprus, from which the metal took its name, the evolution of the human form in art and many other themes highlight the evolution of Cypriot culture.
