CYCLADIC CAFE ART PROJECT
FEBRUARY - ΜΑY 2017
THE ARTIST
Almost always, there is an artificial grid behind what appears natural in his pictures.
The artist captures his themes in a monumental way without the use of theatrical or dramatic elements. In this particular photograph he is concerned about the two-way relationship of the city and the people who are hospitalized or work within the hospital, transforming it into an episode of human history. He aims the image to evoke a sense of serenity, the serenity that follows understanding.

CYCLADIC CAFE ART PROJECT
As part of the Contemporary Art Program, the Museum of Cycladic Art presents the Cycladic Café Art Project connecting social spaces with art. Aiming to embrace both the greek and the international contemporary art scene, the Museum presents works by internationally acclaimed and emerging artists, which relate to current Museum exhibitions and activities. The Cycladic Café Art Project stimulates an intimate dialogue bringing art closer to everyday life.
