Young Patrons Summer Weekend 2025
YOUNG PATRONS
18-20 JULY 2025

THE EVENT
Our Cycladic Young Patrons Summer Weekend takes place every year on a different island of the Cyclades, with the aim of highlighting and promoting it through a unique program of archaeological and cultural activities, addressed to the dynamic category of museum Friends, the Cycladic Young Patrons.
Every year, the museum invites artists and creators from different artistic fields to exclusive collaborations within the framework of the Cycladic Young Patrons Summer Weekend program, highlighting every aspect of contemporary art.
This year’s visual identity of the three-day event is a creation of the internationally renowned artist, Konstantinos Kakanias.
The Cycladic Young Patrons visited Milos and had the opportunity to participate in a Narrative Walk under the artistic direction of Michail Marmarinos, Artistic Director of the Athens Epidaurus Festival, in a guided tour of geomorphological interest in Sarakiniko with Dr. Evi Nomikou, professor at the National University of Athens, in a talk on the Aphrodite of Milos by Ludovic Laugier, curator of Greek Sculptures at the Louvre Museum, a documentary screening in Sarakiniko in collaboration with the Kimolists and more.
