Community Programs
With a view to create a cultural organization accessible to all, the Museum of Cycladic Art participates since 2014 in Erasmus+ programs on accessibility and inclusion. Since 2016, it has created a dedicated department with the aim of organizing programs for vulnerable social groups, specifically-designed to serve their needs inside and outside the Museum halls. The key rationale behind these programs is to ensure that they appeal to audiences of all ages adapted to their skills and interests, so that they have equal cultural opportunities. During this journey of inclusion, more than 25,000 people have benefited from the Museum’s social programs.
