In each image of her ongoing print series a scanned close-up captures an idiosyncratic involvement with a long-standing collection of objects. Objects that evoke leisure and off-time, collected according to strict criteria of temporality, materiality and affect. Α breach of an object’s constitution is performed through a process of exaggerated classification, which mirrors a hyperbolic charge between carefreeness and care.
Each image opts for a monopoly of the gaze, beholding with the high quality definition of a forensic scrutiny.
