€130.00
Miniature amphora, “amphoriskos”, decorated with a swan on both sides of the shoulder. The name of the vase derives from the words «αμφί» + «φέρω», meaning carrying from both sides. It is a vase with two vertical handles starting from the body. The amphorae were used for storing and transporting oil, wine, small fruits, and water. In its miniature form it was used either as a toy or as an offering to a sanctuary.
