Owl Pendant

The owl is a symbol of wisdom and prudence. The symbolism comes from Classical antiquity and Greek mythology. The ancient Greek goddess Athena, associated with wisdom and learning, was awestruck by the bird’s big eyes and austere appearance. The owl therefore became her favorite bird and an emblem included in her many statues. Moreover, the Athenian 5^th century tetradrachm coin was stamped with the image of the owl of Athena as a symbol of intelligence and wealth.
