Gold-plated cufflinks inspired by an inscription on a Byzantine cross from the island of Nisyros. The words “LIFE” and “LIGHT” come from the prologue of the Gospel of John, used to qualify the word of Christ. They are manufactured using the seal carving technique and particularly the ancient technique of negative relief engraving.
