“Frying pan-shaped Vase” Earrings

Silver earrings inspired by the Cycladic frying pan-shaped clay vase.
The frying pan owes its name to its characteristic shape. Its use and function during antiquity remains puzzling to this day. These vases, ceramic or stone, bear incised or impressed decorations: spirals like sea waves, ships, fish, stars and the sun, i.e., signs particularly familiar to the Cycladic people.
