Easter Candle with Ceramic Toy “Lalitsa”

The “lalitsa”, or water whistle, is a traditional musical toy that has been loved by generations of children. It is a small, usually ceramic object shaped like a bird that teaches children basic concepts of sound and music, while at the same time allowing them to imitate natural sounds, such as the chirping of birds. Similar objects have been found in ancient Greece and in other civilizations, made of clay or metal.
