"Crocus" Lucky Charm Pendant 2025

€60.00

Gold plated lucky charm pendant for 2025 with crocus.

In Greek mythology, Crocus was a young man transformed into the saffron plant by the god Hermes, who accidentally killed him during a discus throw. Three drops of Crocus’s blood became the three red spots at the center of the crocus flower. Representing earth’s fertility and the seasonal cycle, saffron has long been valued as an aromatic herb, aphrodisiac, poison, and hallucinogen. In ancient Cyclades, it was associated with sanctuaries, goddesses, and worship. Celebrated for its healing properties, crocus holds a unique place in the history of medicine and is among Greece’s most renowned aromatic and medicinal plants.
