Brooch "Frying Pan"
€55.00
Gold plated brooch with a “frying pan” vessel.
The “frying pan” got its name from its form and not because of the way we use it, which remains mysterious until today. Those utensils, were made of clay or stone. The frying pans were engraved with various representations: spirals that reminded us of the sea waves, ships, fish and suns, elements that were loved by the islanders and the seafarers.
