The "Cup-Bearer", Seated Figurine

In addition to the well-known upright female figurines, Cycladic art also created a distinct category of figurines depicting various social activities of the Cycladic Islanders. In the “Cup-Bearer” the main figure is depicted as seated on a marble stool, holding a cup in his right hand, and appears to be participating in a celebration or festival.
