\n Which gods did the ancient Greeks worship? Who was their favorite hero? Who won the Gigantomachy? What is the myth of Europe?\n <\/div>\n \n \n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n
\n
\n

The answers to such questions shall be delivered during the Museum of Cycladic Art program \u201cGods and Heroes”. The abduction of Europa by Zeus, scenes from Gigantomachy, the apotheosis of Hercules, Apollo with his lyre, the armed Athena goddess and other performances “narrate” ancient Greek stories.<\/p>\n

Upon attending a screening, children are invited to visit the museum’s “Scenes from everyday life to antiquity” exhibition. Vase representations, statuettes<\/span> and other exhibits offer students the opportunity to learn about the gods, heroes and the myth of Europe. During the visit, children use documents containing various activities that will enable them to discover selected exhibits in a collaborative, interactive way.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
