\n How were vases made? What were they used for? What information do they provide about the daily life of ancient Greeks? \n <\/div>\n \n \n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n
\n
\n

The answers to such questions shall be delivered during the Museum of Cycladic Art program “The Clay Vases of the Museum”. The art of pottery has survived from ancient times to the present day. The special soil (clay soil or clay) that existed in Attica resulted in the production of high-quality vases. Since 6th<\/sup> century BC, the art of black-figure and then red-figure pottery were developed. Aside Athens, Attic vases were also found in other areas of Greece and the Mediterranean. The vases produced had various shapes and were decorated with scenes from their daily life.<\/p>\n

Upon attending a screening, students are invited to visit the Ancient Greek Art exhibition. The vases\u2019 different shapes and representations offer students the opportunity to learn about the life of ancient Greeks and their habits. Through images, drawings, videos and brochures containing various activities, children will discover selected exhibits and actively participate in the event.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
