She holds a BA from the Department of Archaeology and History at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina. She attended a six-month course in archaeological drawing. From 1997 to 2005 she worked as an archaeologist at the Ephorate of Antiquities of the Cyclades, excavating mainly Early Bronze Age settlements and cemeteries, such as Chalandriani of Syros, but also Neolithic settlements, such as Strophilas of Andros or the Mesolithic settlement at Maroulas of Kythnos.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, she conducted rescue excavations and autopsies on the Aegean islands. She participated in the inventory of the antiquities of Pythagoreion and Vathi Museums on Samos, as well as in the systematic excavation of Despotiko island near Paros. She has also taken part in many academic excavations, such as the Mycenaean cemetery of Kallithea in Patras, the Minoan palace of Archanes in Crete and the ancient Minoa of Amorgos.<\/p>\n<p>Since January 2019, she was a tour guide at the Museum of Cycladic Art, while from 2023 she works as an Assistant Curator of Antiquities.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n  <!-- Rich Text Editor Start -->\n  <\/div>\n\n                  <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":18835,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-38278","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
