\n The building at 4 Neophytou Douka Street was designed in 1985 by architect Ioannis Vikelas to house the permanent collections of the Museum.\n <\/div>\n \n \n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

Its fa\u00e7ade seamlessly combines marble and glass, mirroring simplicity and light diffusion characteristic of the Cycladic landscape. Inside, the simple lines and modern aesthetics dominate, incorporating materials indigenous to the Cyclades, such as marble and granite.<\/p>\n

The building has 4 floors offering a total exhibition area of 2,300 m\u00b2 and houses the Cycladic Caf\u00e9 and the Cycladic Shop. In 2007, the New Wing of Dolly Goulandris was added to the building, providing space for temporary exhibitions and the Museum\u2019s Educational Department.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

The Museum of Cycladic Art enters a new era! The Museum is undergoing renovation while remaining open to the public.<\/p>\n

Starting Monday, May 19th<\/strong>, the Museum\u2019s entrance at 4 Neophytou Douka St will be under construction. We continue to welcome you through Stathatos Mansion entrance (Vas. Sofias & 1 Irodotou St.).<\/p>\n
