\n Drawing inspiration from the art of stenciling and the street art approach showcased at the Banksy Museum in New York, this workshop will explore the relationship between the image, the message, and public space. \n <\/div>\n \n \n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

The museum highlights street art as an art form that can provide commentary on society, challenge the status quo, and spark dialogue. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to make a stencil and explore its connection to graffiti and the technique of screen printing. Next, we\u2019ll experiment with shapes, colors, and repetitive motifs to create unique works of art. We\u2019ll see how an image can take on different meanings depending on the message it conveys and the space in which it is displayed.<\/p>\n
