Avant Arte, the creative marketplace making art radically more accessible, announces first-time collaboration with one of the world\u2019s most celebrated contemporary artists Cindy Sherman. This exclusive partnership involves the sale of three previously unreleased limited-edition photographic works from her iconic Head Shots<\/em> series. The works will be available on the platform from November 11, 2025, for one week only, with all proceeds going to support the Museum of Cycladic Art\u2019s \u201cTransformation\u201d project. In honor of its 40th anniversary, the Museum is creating an architectural landmark and a cultural milestone, reimagining how it serves the public as a dynamic, inclusive and immersive cultural hub.<\/p>\n

For Avant Arte\u2019s debut collaboration, Sherman presents three never-before-seen photographs from her seminal Head Shots<\/em> series. Untitled<\/em> (2000\/2025) comes from Sherman\u2019s first photoshoot for the series, where she portrayed aspiring actors having their headshots taken in the lead-up to the 2000 Oscars, each hoping for a big break. This trio of photographs was originally shot on an expired roll of experimental Polaroid slide film and is presented in the format of a projector strip from an old-fashioned cinema, evoking the poignant story of faded Hollywood dreams. Until now, these photographs have remained unreleased. Twenty-five years later, Sherman shares this hidden gem from her personal archive, with proceeds supporting the Museum of Cycladic Art. The limited-edition print is offered as a set of three, with each set priced at EUR 1,300 + VAT.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
