\n Young Friends visited and were guided privately to the contemporary art exhibitions Reality Check II: Inner Sanctum and Sheltered Gardens presented simultaneously at the Attica Psychiatric Hospital and the Diomedes Botanical Garden in the area of Daphni.\n <\/div>\n \n \n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

REALITY CHECK: INNER SANCTUM<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2021, the group exhibition of contemporary art entitled “Reality Check” was held in one of the largest – abandoned – buildings of the Attica Psychiatric Hospital (PSNA – Dafni) complex, directing our attention beyond the objective status of a psychiatric institution.<\/p>\n

SHELTERED GARDENS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sheltered Gardens was an original, hybrid visual project involving more than 35 international artists, writers and performers. Having as a starting point the poem of the same name by H.D. Sheltered Garden (1916) and centered on the I. & A. N. Diomidos Botanical Garden, one of the largest and most important Botanical Gardens in the Mediterranean, the PCAI’s multimedia program included a series of new commissions and performances.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
