Martine d\u2019Anglejan-Chatillon is a leading figure in the international contemporary art world. She founded MDAC<\/a> in 2019 \u2014 an agency anticipating fundamental changes in artist representation as well as in the production and commercial distribution of their work outside of the gallery paradigm. Breaking down boundaries between art forms and industries, MDAC<\/a> projects often involve advanced digital technologies and are collaborations with key partners in art-adjacent fields such as film, gaming, blockchain, music entertainment, fashion and the performing arts. In that context, she has collaborated with world acclaimed artists such as Philippe Parreno, John Gerrard, Es Devlin, Lawrence Lek, Brian Eno and Richie Hawtin and has supported new projects by Tino Sehgal and Wes Anderson. MDAC has also collaborated with Comme des Garcons and Louis Vuitton fashion houses.<\/p>\n

Since 2019 she has served on the board of Somerset House Trust, London, where the PATH-AI residency programme commissions artists to create new works critically engaging with intercultural ideas of privacy, agency, and trust in relation to artificial intelligence (AI) and other data-driven technologies. The programme is aimed at artists interested in exploring the international landscape for AI ethics, governance, and regulation.<\/p>\n

Prior to founding MDAC<\/a>, d\u2019Anglejan-Chatillon worked internationally with outstanding visual artists and institutions for over thirty years. She helped to pioneer new models of private and corporate philanthropy in the UK at the National Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery, London and led important cultural projects under the umbrella of the Rothschild Foundation. In 2004, d\u2019Anglejan-Chatillon co-founded Thomas Dane Gallery, London, where she oversaw the careers of artists including Steve McQueen, John Gerrard, Jean-Luc Moul\u00e8ne, Akram Zaatari, and Lynda Benglis. In 2016, she was appointed Executive Producer of DAU, one of the most ambitious undertakings in the history of cinema.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
