One of the most identifiable symbols of happiness worldwide is the Smiley Face created by Harvey Ball. Designed with one yellow circle that represents a human head, two black dots that serve as eyes, and a black line that represents a mouth, this face is silkscreen printed on the front of the Cycladic hoodie.

The Smiley Face on the Cycladic hoodie follows the form of the classic smiley, but has the eyes and mouth replaced with elements from the Cycladic shop logo. Following Ball’s original version, the left eye is smaller than the right. This new design, containing the Smiley Face and the Cycladic shop logo, represents happiness by utilizing one of the most recognizable symbols of happiness in popular culture today. The text on the back of the hoodie, Have a Cycladic Day, follows the font and curved shape of the common Have a Nice Day design found in popular supermarkets in the United States, especially in New York City.
