A variety of marble containers the jars, the phialai, the palettes are among the most distinctive Cycladic creations of the 3rd millennium BC. Their shapes fascinate the modern spectator; however, their use in antiquity remains a mystery. They may have been used in rituals, associated with the religion of prehistoric Cyclades.

Female figurine of the 'Folded arm' type.&nbsp;The Cycladic figurines of this form represent female figures standing naked, with the arms folded below their chest. Their abstract refined figure probably represents a great "Mother Goddess", symbol of fertility and rejuvenation.
