Description

It is the miniature of an oenochoe (wine vessel) with trefoil mouth. The name of the vessel comes from the words «οίνος» + «xέω» (wine and pour) and was used for pouring or serving wine. In its miniature form it was used either as a toy or as an offering to a sanctuary.
