Walk in the historical neighborhood of Plaka

At the northeastern foothills of the Acropolis, a district is bustling with life for over 6,000 years - one of the most historic and picturesque neighborhoods of Athens.

Starting from the Lysikratos monument to Anafiotika, we experienced the long history of our city: from the ancient donor monuments to the impressive Roman buildings, the small Byzantine churches to the majestic mosques, the proud neoclassical mansions in the humble houses on the outskirts of the ancient rock; a walk in places known and less well-known, in brilliant monuments and forgotten corners.
