Marietta Kypriotaki was born in Athens in 1992. She studied Archaeology and Art History of the Department of History and Archaeology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Crete (Rethymnon). Subsequently, she continued her postgraduate studies in Byzantine Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has participated in conferences (of an Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Seminar).

For many years she has participated in field researches, rescue excavations and systematic archaeological excavations, such as the archaeological excavation-Field research of ancient Eleutherna in Rethymno regional unit (Crete) (Sector II). Since July 2019 she works at the Museum of Cycladic Art as a guide.
