Hula Dance

Saturday 14/5 11:00-13:00,
Sunday 15/5 11:30-13:30,
Saturday 21/5 11:00-13:00
and Sunday 22/5 11:30-13:30 (repetition of the same workshop)

Summer is fast approaching! During this year’s last workshop, we travel to Polynesia to dance to the rhythms of the movie Moana. We wear grass skirts, paint our bodies, and let the Hula dance lead our steps and help us tell stories with our movements. Then, like ocean travelers, we use our hands to build clay boats that will take us on a journey this summer. We mold, squeeze, and cut. We feel the clay and its plasticity. We engrave and paint. In the end, our boat is ready to be fitted with its sail.

Happy sailing!

P.S.: Children and parents, please feel free to wear comfortable and casual clothing and be prepared to get messy, as we will get messy!
