Georgios Karampelas was born in Athens in 1992 and has graduated from the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean. In 2019, he has earned a master’s degree in Digital Media from Goldsmiths, University of London (MA in Digital Media). From February 2020, he is a PhD student at the University of the Aegean with a research focus on Digital Culture & Digital Humanities.
He has been employed at the Communication & Development Department of the Museum of Cycladic Art, and specifically in the field of Digital Communication since 2017. His work is related to the Museum’s visual and digital identity. He is also Museum’s website administrator and responsible to update Museum’s social media channels. At the same time, he participates in the communication strategy concerning Museum's temporary exhibitions, both archaeological and contemporary.
