Are you 4-12 years old?
Grab your pencils and paper and be one of the artists in the museum’s next exhibition!
The Museum of Cycladic Art is calling out to its young friends aged 4-12 – children in pre-school and all classes of elementary school – to take part in this year’s drawing competition titled “Imagine what is hidden in the lamp!”
The competition is being held for the 6th consecutive time, and last year’s competition had 15,000 participations!
10/10/2018 until 28/02/2019
With the lamp as your guide, travel to magical lands and places hidden well inside your imagination. Pick the colors and materials you need and draw the lamp the way you imagine it! There are no restrictions!
In addition to Genies coming out of the lamp there are also fantastic stories and magic wishes. Use your drawing to guide us inside your fairytale!
We will be waiting for your artwork from 10/10/2018 to 28/02/2019.

The Judges of the Competition will be:

For the first time, three winners from each class, from Preschool to the 6th Grade, along with special needs schools, will get the Cycladic Art Box ®
How to enter the competition
1. Download the design from here
2. Print the design in A4 paper
3. Draw whatever you imagine coming out of the lamp
4. Send us your artwork and the by post
The artworks must be sent by post or delivered by Thursday 28th of February 2019 to the following address:

The children must use colored pencils, markers, and/or aquarelle paints.
The winners of each age will be selected by the Museum’s committee.The Museum will choose some of the artworks to be exhibited as part of the annual Educational Programs exhibition.
THE ARTWORKS WILL NOT BE RETURNED.
The artworks may be used in a different way to cover the Museum’s or the sponsor’s needs.
Parents and teachers, let the children express themselves in their own way, without your interference.
The participations will be taken into account as long as the artwork is in the museum by the 28th of February or has a post-stamp with the date on it.
Individual participations must be accompanied by the participation form.
School participations must be accompanied by one participation form per class.
Each child can enter the competition ONCE.
