ANNOUNCEMENT

We inform the visitors that in accordance with the new measures to deal with the distribution of Covid 19, starting from Monday, September 13th, 2021:

The entry into the museum will be allowed only to those over 12 years old who have and demonstrate green pass or vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery from covid-19 (up to 6 months).

• Admission to minors, from 5 to 11 years old, is allowed with the self-test certificate (taken no longer than 24 hours).

• Admission to minors, from 12 to 17 years old, is allowed with a rapid-test certificate (taken no longer than 48 hours).

• Identity will be checked by proving identity or passport or driving license.

We inform the customers of Cycladic Café that from Friday 16-7-2021 and in accordance with the new measures to deal with the distribution of Covid 19:

• The entry into the cafe area will be allowed only to those who have and demonstrate a vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery from covid-19.

• Identity will be checked by proving identity or passport or driving certificate.

• Admission to minors is allowed only with the self-test

Update: According to Government regulations, guided tour groups must be up to ten participants. The use of protective face mask is mandatory throughout your stay in the Museum's galleries. Upon entering the Μuseum, non-contact body temperature check will be conducted to all visitors.

ACCESS

The entrance to the Museum is possible by two points, the Main Building of Permanent Collections and the Stathatos Mansion. The two buildings are interconnected. The admission ticket is valid for both wings of the MCA as well as the temporary exhibitions, unless otherwise stated.

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES 
Access for persons with disabilities is via a wheelchair ramp at the entrance to the Main Building, at 4 Neophytou Douka str. Access to the floors is by elevator.

PARKING
The MCA has no parking facilities and the Kolonaki neighborhood is densely populated. Visitors are, therefore, advised to use one of the several means of public transportation (see above). However, for those who wish to visit the MCA by private car, there are paid parking areas at the following locations:

ANNOUNCEMENT

On the occasion of the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution of 1821 and according to the guidance of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Museum of Cycladic Art will provide free entrance to the audience on Thursday, October 21st and Sunday, November 21st, 2021.

SAFETY MEASURES

  • MAINTAIN PHYSICAL DISTANCING

    For prevention and protection against COVID-19, it is strongly recommended that you keep a safe distance greater than 1.5m from others. At customer service points (Ticket office, Cycladic Shop), please follow the floor markings.

  • USE OF FACE COVERINGS

    The use of face coverings is required in all Museum spaces (Permanent Collections, Temporary Exhibitions, Cycladic Shop). The optional use of a face covering is only allowed at the Cycladic Café.

  • PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE ART

    Please do not touch surfaces such as screens, showcases and exhibits with your fingertips.

  • FOLLOW THE SUGGESTED VISIT ROUTE

    Please follow the one-way floor route markings.

  • VISITORS FLOW CONTROL

    A maximum number of visitors allowed into the Museum has been defined. The Museum's Security Staff will ensure that the allowed number is observed in all the exhibition rooms and common areas. Please follow the instructions given for your own safety and protection.

  • USE OF CARDS FOR TRANSACTIONS

    In order to minimize touch points, the use of credit or debit cards for your transactions is recommended. We would also like to inform you that, protective Plexiglas shields have been installed at every customer service point.

  • USE OF ELECTRONIC TICKET

    To minimize touch points the use of electronic ticket is recommended. Electronic tickets will be contactless validated, upon entering the Museum.

  • CERTIFIED DISINFECTION OF PREMISES

    The Museum’s premises are cleaned and disinfected at a regular basis by certified cleaning services.

  • COAT CHECK IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED

    For safety reasons, coat check is temporarily closed. No large bags allowed in the Museum.

  • DIGITAL TEMPERATURE CHECK

    Upon entering the Μuseum, non-contact infrared thermometer will be used to check your body temperature. For safety reasons, visitors with body temperature above 37.5°C (99.5°f), will not be permitted to enter the Museum.

  • AIR - CONDITIONING & VENTILATION SYSTEM

    For the safety of both visitors and staff, air-conditioning and ventilation system are in complete accordance with the Government’s guidelines for health protection and safety against COVID-19.
