SAFETY MEASURES

  • KEEP SAFE DISTANCE MORE THAT 1,5M

    For prevention and protection reasons against COVID-19, it is recommended that you keep safe distances in all Museum's areas. In waiting areas (entrance, Cycladic Shop) follow the floor marking.

  • WEAR A FACE MASK

    The use of mask is necessary in all Museum’s areas. Using a mask is optional only in the Cycladic Café

  • PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE EXHIBITS

    There are special markings to avoid contact with screens, showcases and exhibits.

  • FOLLOW THE SUGGESTED VISIT ROUTE

    One-way routes guidelines are in place throughout the collections

  • A SPECIFIC NUMBER OF VISITORS IS ALLOWED TO ENTER IN ALL MUSEUM'S AREAS

    A specific number of visitors is allowed to enter in the Permanent Collection Spaces, the Cycladic Shop and Café. The observance of the allowed number of visitors / space will be ensured by the staff. Follow the instructions for your own protection.

  • PLEASE USE CARDS FOR ALL THE TRANSACTIONS

    The use of cards for all the transactions is recommended in order to minimise touchpoints

  • THE USE OF ELECTRONIC TICKET IS RECOMMENDED

    To minimise touchpoints the use of electronic ticket is recommended. Electronic tickets will be verified contactless, when entering the Museum.

  • CERTIFIED CLEANING

    Museum’s facilities are constantly cleaned and sanitized by a certified cleaning service

  • BIG LUGGAGE IS NOT ALLOWED

    For the convenience of the visitors and for the observance of safe distances, the big luggage is not allowed.

  • BODY TEMPERATURE CHECK

    Upon entering the Μuseum, there will be body temperature check.

  • AIR - CONDITIONING IS IN COMPLETE ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT'S HEALTH PROTECTION GUIDELINES

    For the safety of both visitors and staff, air-conditioning system is in complete accordance with the government’s guidelines for health protection and safety.

ACCESS

The access to the Museum is possible by two points. The two buildings are interconnected. The admission ticket is valid for both wings of the MCA and the respective temporary exhibitions, unless if indicated otherwise.

DISABLED PERSONS 
Access for disabled persons is via a wheelchair ramp at the entrance to the Main Building, at 4 Neophytou Douka str. Access to the floors is by elevator.

PARKING
The MCA has no parking facilities and the Kolonaki neighbourhood is densely populated. Visitors are, therefore, advised to use one of the several means of public transportation that serve the museum (see above). However, for those who wish to visit the MCA by private car, there are paid parking areas at the following locations:
