As always, the final workshop of the year will have a special festive atmosphere. Beloved Christmas melodies will lift our spirits, and a festive fairy tale will come to life through the magic of Christmas. When it’s time to get creative, drawing inspiration from the ancient joined doll (plaggona), as well as other toys from antiquity, we’ll make our own Christmas decorations.

We invite children and parents to become architects for a day and imagine what a space would be like if you designed it from scratch. What colors would it have, what things would you put inside, who would live there, and what would its visitors be like? In this workshop, as always, we’ll get to know each other, dance, play with shapes, and create our own art projects using mixed media.

We’ll experiment with all of these colors, in order to decorate our own creative postcards and send messages to our loved ones from the Museum of Cycladic Art.

Our journey into Jeff Koons’s inflatable world continues with another workshop dedicated to his work and the art of… reflection!
We will play and dance together, alongside our many selves, and discover the artists hidden within us—both young and old.

This month, we invite parents and children to take a journey through contemporary art! Together, we’ll explore the work of artist Jeff Koons and discover his iconic sculptures.

We’ll make music using our own bodies and explore an entire universe filled with shapes and colors. We, too, will draw inspiration from the prehistoric Venus figures to create our own rounded and glossy designs!

Spring is coming! As for us, we are also getting ready to welcome Spring through musical games, dancing and creative activities.

The March educational workshop is dedicated to the most colorful and fragrant season of the year, as well as to our feathered friends, the birds! Together, we will explore the world of birds through sounds, movement and rhythm. We will listen to stories and draw inspiration from the Museum’s exhibits to craft our own spring creations out of clay.

Inspired by Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals, children will take part in a playful musical parade, transforming themselves into animals through sound, movement, and storytelling.

Together, we will create a fairy tale featuring our favorite animals and explore which of them are hidden within the Cypriot collection of our Museum. Drawing inspiration from these discoveries, children will design and decorate their own animal masks, blending music, art, and imagination into a festive creative experience.

For thousands of years, people have been gazing at the stars, and the stars in return gift them their light, show them the way, and of course… listen to their wishes!

The first workshop of 2026 is dedicated constellations! We will listen to astro-stories, dance in a space-themed way, get inspired by a figurine of a stargazer, and create our own star journal! They will turn the prints of everyday material into stars that will decorate the pages of their own constellation notebook!

A dog, a cat, a donkey, and a rooster team up to save Christmas and fulfill their dream: To create their very own band!

In this festive workshop, we take inspiration from the legendary musical duo Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Through their timeless songs, we’ll meet, dance to Christmas tunes, and bring a magical story to life. Afterwards, we’ll decorate our own Christmas gift using stencils, all to the sound of music!

In this workshop, Hans Arp’s free-form sculptures and Sophie Arp’s geometrical puppets, will become our inspiration to make our own original puppets and dolls from clay and recyclable materials.

Parents and children will mold, press, make balls and noodles out of clay, cut, glue, and tie together simple materials, and, in the end, form their heroes.
