  • Description Pair of earrings composed of a S-shaped hook with small flat disc connected to a fixed hemispherical ball (with hollow back). This type of earrings dates to the 1st and 2nd c. AD and is used widely throughout the Mediterranean world (Cyprus, Greece, Palestine, Italy). Its origins, however, remain for the present elusive.
